Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Dette er et produkt vi har omtalt flere ganger og det er ingen overraskelse at denne også går sin seiersgang på internettet. Toneren er skånsom nok til å brukes av alle hudtyper, selv om de med sensitiv alltid må trå litt varsomt. Det kan være lurt å jobbe opp toleransen, så bruk kun et par netter i uken i starten, slik at huden kan vende seg til den aktive ingrediensen BHA (salicylic acid).

Denne fungerer optimalt om man har kviser, rødhet pga. kviser, ujevn hudtekstur, sorte prikker, osv.

My face was in a terrible state before this product. I looked like an alligator but not like those kinds Jimmy Choo wants but more like the kinds you find in the Florida Everglades. I've been using the product exactly two weeks and applying twice daily as instructed. Let me tell you it has changed the game for me! I've been single for ten years now. But after two short weeks I've now been on 3 dates, had a marriage proposal, somebody's husband is my DM and a guy even offered me a puppy. Of course the puppy guy is now my committed boyfriend (but I digress) . All I'm saying is... I don't make milkshakes so it has to be this exfoliate bringing all the boys to my yard.

«Wow, and I mean WOW

I don't really have words. I'm astounded really. My skin is:

-OILY

-Hormonal acne

-Huge nose pores with blackheads

-Hyperpigmented

-and to top it all off I pick like nobody's business

I've had this stuff about a week and let me tell you, it is WORKING. I can definitely see a difference with the blackheads and sebaceous filaments on my nose.

Denne fungerer optimalt om man har fet og kombinert hud, men passer for, og vil gi masse fukt, til alle hudtyper. Dette kan være en god fuktighetskrem om sommeren for de fleste.

Seborrheic dermatitis treatment - good products for men with beards!

For frame of reference, I am a man and I have a face/skin condition, which apparently is caused by oils or something in my skin (I don’t know - just google seborrheic dermatitis).

I actually like this face lotion a lot - it feels “cool/cold” when I put it on, and it definitely feels like its hydrating my face. I also have a medium thickness beard, and this lotion doesn’t get caught on my beard or anything like that.

If you’re a dude, give this a shot. Taking care of skin is important for guys too!

I've only been using it for a few days, but I've already seen drastic changes. I had bags under my eyes so bad that every time I went through the airport, they charged me extra for luggage. Denne fungerer optimalt for alle hudtyoer, spesielt om man har tørr, sensitiv eller normal hud, men ikke vær redd for å prøve denne om du har fet og kombinert hud. God fukt kan gjøre underverker for fet og kombinert hud.

Let me set the scene that is my 35 year old face...still enjoying breakouts and blackheads, wrinkles, nose skin that regularly fully peels off, neck skin that’s starting to get that waddle/wrinkly look. Yeah, awesome. Tried this and am loving it. Skin looks plumper and livelier.

Perfect for oily/flaky skin

I have oily, but flaky skin in winter. It's really annoying, no matter how much I exfoliate or moisturize, my cheeks get flaky. Oily but flaky, ugh. I can't even wear foundation or powder because it will make the flaky texture more obvious. This cream doesn't leave a greasy film, it sinks right into my skin. I even wore it with makeup today and my skin was smooth and flake free.

Throw all your lotions away and buy this. I wish i had a bathtub full of it. I’ve never seen a cream work so fast or as good. My legs were sooo dry for years, especially the front side for some reason. I’m 73. OMG After just using it for a week my legs are soo soft and smoothe.its amazing. I’ll never be without it. Denne fungerer optimalt om man har hud, skal fungere godt for alle hudtyper. Den kan dog etterlate såkalt “white cast” for mørkere hudtoner.

Did it have a strange smell? Yes, but as long as you're not getting super intimate with people, nobody is going to notice the smell. It's not that strong smelling.

Does it leave a slight white shadow on my face? Yes, but overall, it absorbs pretty well for being SPF 46. 

When I sweat, does it burn my eyes any more than how much my own perspiration burns my eyes when I sweat? NO!!!

Does it prevent sunburn on a very sunny day in August in Florida? YES!!!!

Has it caused my acne prone skin to break out? NO!!!

I have acne prone dry skin and this sunscreen is a lifesaver. Does not clog pores, does not make you break out, doesn’t create redness, it’s super lightweight! I have super sensitive skin so I am always worried about new products but honestly if I didn’t use this everyday my skin would not be as nice as it is.

Great for acne prone skin

This product is amazing for sensitive and acne-prone skin. 

I have had issues in the past with sunscreens breaking me out and with Elta MD I have no worries. Now after using it a month I have noticed my skin is more hydrated (it does give you a glow) honestly some days I will just put this on and go out the door, it gives you a dewy look. Also, it goes on white but turns clear as you rub it in. I have not seen any white cast after using it. Honestly, it's so amazing you don't even need a primer before makeup. 10/10

Cystic acne relief in 2 days

If you are looking for relief from ocassional (2-3 a month) painful, unwelcome cystic acne, then run, don’t walk and buy this product! I’ve tried other drying products such as sulfur, benzoyl peroxide, toothpaste (??!!)... but I didn’t have any luck and only had dry patches the next morning.

I put these patches on as soon as I feel the “here we go again” tenderness on my chin. Within 2-3 days, they’re gone. I am 31 years old and am experiencing cystic acne for the first time. 😑

Patches stick on extremely well, are breathable, and really do SEAL the affected area in a manner that effectively treats and heals your acne.. I use a jade roller to secure them on even further and it feels like a mini spa day :) . These patches are surprisingly quite translucent when you put them on and they stay secure, so you can actually wear them out and no one will notice!

I have quite clear skin, but have this cluster of bumps on my skin. When I took off the patches…THAT'S when the magic happened. So gross yet so satisfying, and the cluster of pimples in that area are almost all gone. I'll be using this product again for sure!

Best lip balm money can buy

This is by far the best lip balm I've ever used. I found it about two years ago when I began Accutane. As anyone knows, the medication causes your lips to become EXTREMELY dry and flaky. My dermatologist recommended it, and I have never used another lip balm since. It is extremely effective at moisturizing and softening dry lips and feels very light. I couldn't recommend this product more highly.

I have used many, many lip treatments over the years - Carmex, Blistex, Nivea, Burt's Bees, 8 hour cream, Vaseline, La Roche Posay, Beauty Pie, Lanolips - you name it, I have probably tried it.

Life changing!

Every winter my lips bleed and get so cracked to the point where I'm in pain and self conscious 24/7. I feel like I've tried everything (vaseline, various chapsticks, not mouth breathing, not licking lips, etc) and nothing has worked. I'm so incredibly happy with the results of this one, this product also feels moisturizing, lasts a long time without the need for reapplication, and doesn't have any strong fragrance. If I could give this more than five stars I would!


L’Oréal Paris 1,5% Hyaluronic Acid Revitalift Intense

Et serum med hyaluronsyre er aldri å forakte. Hyaluronsyre binder vann i huden og kan derfor gi inntrykk av “fyldigere” hud med mindre linjer og rynker. Slike serum bør brukes på lett fuktig hud og etter å ha påført serumet bør man påføre fuktighetskrem.

Dette serumet har tydeligvis blitt en Amazon-favoritt og er definitivt verdt å sjekke ut om man ønsker seg et serum med hyaluronsyre.

Passer optimalt for alle hudtyper som trenger litt ekstra fukt.

Apply only to damp, moist skin for best results!

I have dry mature skin, and moisture is the key to a youthful texture and tone to ones skin. I believe in serums as I’ve used them for years. I do know that with any serum one must apply sparingly to moist and damp skin for optimal absorption and results. Allow the product to be absorbed, THEN apply a light moisturizer made for your skin type.

The best beauty product out there

Ladies, I am a 52 year old woman who has been very into maintaining younger skin since I was 19. I started out using companies like Clinque, switched to Estee Lauder and Lancome, went all out with LaMer, came back down in price to Fresh, and have tried everything else in between (Caudalie, Loreal, Aveeno, Olay, etc.) I buy beauty products from Korea and I use this serum. I have to say BY FAR this is the single most impressive beauty product I have encountered! The serum works gradually over time (start seeing results immediately, but noticeable after two weeks) but the results are amazing. My wrinkles are smoothed out which is the number one reason why I love it. My overall complexion is smoother and has a glow to it. My cheeks are less ruddy in appearance. I apply generously (a nice sized drop on each cheek, a little less on the forehead) every night and a bottle lasts me 3-4 months.
